I was very excited to get the finials and they were as good or better than I thought they would be, will be shopping more at Perfect Carvings. All 3 different styles that I had ordered were remarkable craftsmanship, no sanding needed, just install on your project and stain or paint to your liking, Their so well carved I would only stain or oil them with Tongue or danish/dutch oil your taste.Destroying the beauty of the wood if you decide to paint them. The owner Wilson helped me out with a issue that came up and writing to Wilson took care of the issue
